Wellington Office – Holiday Hours!

Please see below for the Wellington Community Association office hours.  The office is located in the clubhouse at 9700 Wellington Rd., in Manassas, VA.

Due to the Holiday, Design Review Applications must be submitted to Missy Hayden, at mhayden@wellingtonca.org by December 30th, in order to be processed for ARC review at the January 7th, 2020 ARC meeting.

Reminder: Turn in Your Proxy!

Please turn in your Proxy so the Annual Meeting may be held!  You can use the handy drop-box outside the office at 9700 Wellington Road, give it to a staff member during normal business hours (9am-5pm M-F), or email it to tvasicek@wellingtonca.org. If you did not receive or no longer have the mailed Proxy form, you can also request a new copy via email.

Rise Against Hunger Event – February 15, 2020

This is a courtesy post to spread the word about Grace UMC’s upcoming Rise Against Hunger Event.

Purpose: Rise Against Hunger is a meal packaging event organizer that seeks to involve communities, organizations, and businesses in hands-on mission type volunteering to help end world hunger. Rise Against Hunger is a non-profit 501 3C and Grace UMC will be hosting the event for Rise Against Hunger.

Grace United Methodist Church will be the host-site for a community wide meal packaging event, called Rise Against Hunger. RAH is a non-profit organization that seeks to end world hunger by the year 2030. While we may feel this is a lofty goal, the actual truth is we are getting closer each and every day to ending hunger, especially for school-aged children.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 a.m. to noon. They are expecting 300 volunteers from area schools, groups, organization and businesses and are encouraging them to wear their business shirts, school spirit wear, etc., as we make one huge community wide effort to package 50,000 nutritious meals of rice and dried beans. These meals will then be shipped internationally to the greatest areas of need. Can you imagine a more heart-warming, generous gift than food for your malnourished family than to receive a package shipped from Manassas, VA?  Please contact Darlene Runaldue, Director of Community Connection at Grace UMC at drunaldue@umcgrace.org for more information on how to get involved.  An online signup will also be available soon!

Attention Homeowners! Please submit your proxy form to the office as soon as possible, so that the Annual Meeting may be held!  For information on this year’s uncontested election, and instructions on how to complete the proxy, please click here.

Your proxy submission is your entry to win one of TEN $25.00 gift cards to Target!

Your proxy can be submitted in any of the following ways:

  1. Mail it using the postage pre-paid and self-addressed envelope.
  2. Drop it off at the clubhouse office between 9am-5pm, M-F.
  3. Place it in the drop box outside the clubhouse office.
  4. Email it to tvasicek@wellingtonca.org.
  5. Give it to a neighbor who is attending the meeting.
